Information Technology Advanced Planning Brief to Industry

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Technology Acquisition Center in Eatontown, New Jersey, announced an Information Technology Advanced Planning Brief to Industry (IT APBI) hybrid event scheduled for June 17, 2026. The event is intended to provide industry with briefing sessions on agency acquisition priorities, information technology transformation initiatives, and related objectives. Presentations are expected from senior VA acquisition and IT leadership, including officials from the Office of Acquisition, Logistics and Construction, the Office of Information and Technology, and the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization.

The event will be held at Dewberry Hall, George Mason University, 4477 Aquia Creek Lane, Fairfax, Virginia 22030. On-site registration check-in is scheduled from 7:45 AM to 8:30 AM EST, with the meeting running from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM EST. Attendance options include in-person participation and live virtual streaming. In-person attendance is limited to two attendees per company and available on a first-come, first-served basis until venue capacity is reached. The live stream also has attendance limits based on platform capacity.

The final deadline for in-person registration is 5:00 PM EST on June 12, 2026. The VA indicated that additional event information, including the agenda and FY27 contracting opportunities, will be made available through its acquisition website before the event. Briefing materials, the registration list, and a recording of the event are expected to be posted after the session.
