High Resolution Near-Infrared Camera

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), through its Acquisition Management Division, issued a sources sought notice to identify vendors capable of providing a high-resolution near-infrared camera in accordance with attached specifications. This notice is issued for market research purposes only and is not a request for quotation or a commitment to award a contract.

NIST is seeking information from responsible sources of all business sizes, including small business categories, to assess the availability of qualified vendors and determine whether a future procurement may be set aside for small business participation. If at least two qualified small businesses are identified that can meet the requirement, the acquisition may be solicited as a small business set-aside. The requirement is associated with NAICS code 334515, Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals.

Interested firms are asked to submit a capability statement of no more than five pages. Responses should include a company profile, business size status, office locations, UEI and CAGE code, the name of the product provider and manufacturer, country of origin, specification sheets or product examples meeting the requirement, and typical delivery, installation, and training lead times. Additional relevant information may also be provided to support NIST's market research.
