(1) Vendor needs to provide healthcare data extraction and electronic management of clinical documents, specifically lab results and staffing services to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and interoperability of unstructured clinical data into Epic electronic health record. Solution must meet the following technical capabilities for automation of document ingestions, data extraction, integration with clinical systems, and support the operational staffing needs: • Ensures discrete and accurate laboratory data is in the chart real time. • Reducing risk of transcription errors or delayed care from manual entry. • Ensures important clinical information is not missed from scanned/faxed documents • Optimize workflow efficiency with streamlined access from desktop, mobile, table devices and integration with our Epic EMR to reduce time spent searching for resources • Document ingestion and classification from faxes, pdf, share folders, inboxes • Intelligent patient and content matching for correct patient and encounter • Intelligent data capture use of OCR to digitize content from scan images, file discrete lab results • Integration and support for integrations. Enable bi–directional integration with Epic • Allows for analytics and quality report from within the software • Full audit logging and report on accuracy, turnaround time, document types and user actions • Provide trained vendor staff for implementation, data processing or ongoing support (remote or on–site) • Offer flexible engagement models (short term, long term, project based) • Ensure all personnel adhere to HIPAA and internal security policies.
