A government authority in Montpelier, Vermont is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive support for the transformation of its health data infrastructure. The initiative aims to standardize and enhance the existing Azure DevOps and Azure Databricks environments by achieving full integration and instituting mature agile practices and processes across the organization.
The project encompasses the development and strengthening of a DataOps environment that facilitates agile workflow management, automation, knowledge management, and reporting for governance, data, and operational activities. Key elements to be implemented or improved include Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Wikis, Analytics), SharePoint as a central knowledge and documentation repository, Power BI for executive and operational dashboards, Power Automate for process automation and notifications, and Teams for collaborative work and integration with Azure DevOps.
The scope also involves establishing a modern data ingestion framework, operational governance, entity resolution, and cataloging solutions, as well as the integration of high-priority datasets with automated ingestion from providers. Governance processes and tools will be enhanced to support automated data quality controls throughout the environment.
