The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Louis A. Johnson Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Clarksburg, West Virginia is soliciting bids for a single firm fixed price contract for construction services related to the Halls and Walls Renovation Project (Project Number 540–26–110). The scope includes all labor, materials, equipment, permits, transportation, and supervision required to renovate the finishes in two separate areas of the medical center. This work will involve complete replacement of flooring, resilient cove base, stainless steel corner guards and hand railing, wall protection, wall finish, and painting, with associated demolition and construction tasks.
The project performance period is 360 calendar days from the notice to proceed. The contract will be awarded in accordance with the Invitation for Bids (IFB) under FAR Part 14, and is set aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). All respondents must be properly registered in the appropriate federal databases, including SAM and SBA Small Business Search. The estimated construction value is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. All solicitation materials, including specifications, drawings, and amendments, will be made available online, and interested bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid site visit to be announced in the solicitation.
