DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will deliver comprehensive Go Human safety strategies to support local traffic safety initiatives. The scope includes robust project management, beginning with a kick-off meeting and extending through regular Project Management Team meetings, consultant reporting, and consistent project file maintenance.

Vendors will implement community streets grants by providing end-to-end technical assistance for implementing a minimum of fifteen agency grants across the designated region. These grants are designed to fund and support local projects focused on traffic safety, messaging, education, public engagement activities, leadership development, community assessment, and resource distribution.

Vendors will also manage and deploy up to twenty-five 'Kit of parts' temporary demonstration projects, prioritizing deployments in the public right-of-way, with options for use during open streets events. The project further includes the creation and distribution of co-branded safety advertisements, both printed and digital, supplied at no cost to local jurisdictions and community partners. Messages may be customized and provided in multiple languages such as English, Spanish, Chinese (Traditional), Vietnamese, Korean, Tagalog, and others, with quality control from native speakers. Campaigns will be scheduled in consideration of large events, including the preparation period for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
