Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) issued a Request for Information to support market research for FortiNet FortiGate software license support and subscription renewals for the P-8A Poseidon aircraft program. The renewals are intended to maintain communications security capabilities and continued support services for firewall devices used to meet security communication requirements.
This effort supports the United States Navy, the Royal Australian Air Force as a P-8A cooperative partner, and Foreign Military Sales customers including the United Kingdom, Norway, Republic of Korea, Canada, New Zealand, and Germany. NAVAIR indicated that, based on market research results, it intends to negotiate on a limited-competition basis with authorized FortiNet resellers capable of meeting the requirement, noting that the Government does not possess the technical data package for the FortiGate firewall.
Interested parties were asked to submit company information and descriptive literature on available products that meet the stated requirements, along with a point of contact, phone number, email address, website, DUNS number, CAGE code, and business size status under the applicable NAICS code. Responses were to be submitted electronically by 4:00 PM Eastern on May 21, 2026. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment to award a contract.
