DESCRIPTION

The Oregon Forest Resources Institute (OFRI) is seeking a contractor to provide writing, editing, and review services for scientific outreach publications and materials intended for the public, natural resource professionals, and forest landowners. The contractor will also coordinate and deliver the Wildlife in Managed Forests (WIMF) outreach program, which includes conferences, workshops, webinars, and tours. The initial contract term is five years, with options to renew up to a cumulative maximum of 15 years.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in forestry, fish and wildlife, communications, or a related field
Must have at least ten years of experience in wildlife biology or an associated field
Must have at least ten years of experience demonstrating written and oral communication skills
Must be legally authorized to do business in the State of Oregon
Must have a written policy and practice for preventing sexual harassment, sexual assault, and discrimination against employees who are members of a protected class
