DESCRIPTION

The organization seeks a vendor to deliver, implement, and support a fixed-asset inventory scanner solution, encompassing hardware, software, and related services. The new solution is aimed at modernizing current asset inventory systems, supporting centralized administration, configuration, and governance at the System Office level, while allowing individual colleges to adopt and operate the system within a unified technical, security, and data framework.

The proposed solution will replace legacy Motorola MC55A handheld scanners running Windows Mobile OS and Mobile Asset Counter (MAC) software to address security vulnerabilities inherent in outdated technologies. The new devices and software must be modern, secure, and compatible with current IT standards, as well as support indefinite, concurrent dual-ERP operations, without making assumptions about the completion of any system transition timelines.

A four-year contract period is specified. Vendors are required to submit questions by July 1, 2026.
