A government authority in Somers, New York is seeking a qualified vendor to provide fiscal advisor services related to the planning, structuring, and issuance of short- and long-term debt. The selected firm will advise on debt structure and term, support financing strategy, and help align borrowing decisions with the district's budget constraints, projected repayment sources, market conditions, and future capital needs.
The engagement includes meeting with finance officials to review the district's capital improvement program and providing the financial expertise needed to improve and maintain the district's credit rating in the bond and note market. The advisor will also maintain relationships with credit rating agencies, coordinate presentations as needed, and conduct training sessions for district participants when necessary.
