DESCRIPTION


The vendor will provide federal government relations and lobbying services, including strategic advice, advocacy, relationship development, and ongoing representation. The selected provider will develop and implement a proactive federal strategy supporting legislative, policy, funding, regulatory, and project-specific priorities.

Services will include a comprehensive federal legislative advocacy strategy; monitoring and advocacy related to appropriations, transportation, maritime, infrastructure, and environmental legislation; and strategic advocacy concerning the Water Resources Development Act and other authorizing legislation affecting the Port of Mobile and Mobile Harbor.

The provider will also develop and maintain relationships with senior officials at federal agencies whose programs, policies, funding, or regulatory actions affect the relevant port and maritime interests. Additional advisory services will address emerging federal policies and legislative proposals related to ports, maritime transportation, freight mobility, rail, navigation, dredging, and infrastructure. Questions must be submitted by September 1, 2026.
