DESCRIPTION

The State of Illinois is seeking a vendor to provide an electronic solution for both the Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) and the Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP). The selected e-solution must support the issuance, redemption, and payment disbursements related to these programs. Core requirements include a mobile application for farmers and participants or options involving a physical magnetic swipe card, a participant PIN, or a QR code.

The solution should feature an automated live ledger with comprehensive reporting capabilities, support for real-time benefit issuance tracking, and ensure that the platform is provided at no cost and remains advertisement-free for farmers and participants. The system must also facilitate data collection, entry, reporting, and exporting, capturing information such as applicant and participant demographics. It should allow program personnel to update statuses and generate statistical reports for both individual programs and the overall SFMNP and FMNP operations. The contract term will extend for six years.
