The government authority in Littleton, Colorado is seeking a vendor to provide facilities master planning services. The selected consultant will identify and prioritize county service and space needs over the next 20 years, ensuring that future planning aligns with geography, demography, and equitable access to services across all communities.
The scope includes evaluating current and alternative service delivery models, including technology-enabled and mobile options, and defining the facility types, locations, and capacities needed to support future operations. The consultant will also assess opportunities to consolidate facilities, reduce leased space, and better leverage county-owned assets and land.
Additional work includes analyzing existing facilities for return on investment and repair-versus-replace considerations based on condition information provided by the county. The project also calls for deeper analysis of priorities, facility sizing, funding considerations, and service delivery models, as well as support for public engagement once detailed concepts have been developed.
