A government authority in California is seeking architectural design firms to provide on-call professional services for various county facilities and capital improvement projects. The selected firms will be included on an On-Call Consultant list and may be tasked with assignments such as building renovations, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing upgrades, roof replacements, accessibility (ADA) compliance improvements, and other miscellaneous facility enhancement projects.

Scope of services includes conceptual and schematic design—covering programming, development of design alternatives, preliminary plans and diagrams, initial building systems coordination, and order-of-magnitude cost estimates. Firms will also be responsible for design development through detailed plans, systems integration, and updated cost and constructability considerations. During the construction phase, services may include construction administration, inspection, submittal and RFI review, preparation of as-built drawings, review and recommendations on change orders, and project closeout documentation.
