ERP Project Management Advisory Services

A government authority in Virginia is seeking a qualified vendor to provide advisory services for project management and migration to a modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The scope of services includes conducting a technical readiness assessment that covers integrations, data migration, and system configuration, as well as developing an implementation strategy assessment report.

The selected advisor will propose an engagement approach, recommend personnel and skill sets required for implementation and ongoing support, and suggest staffing adjustments to promote effective knowledge transfer, change management, and system sustainability. Organizational structure recommendations for long-term ERP maintenance and support are also required, along with a future-state support model outlining essential roles and capacity needs.

Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to validate findings and identify business process gaps, translating business needs into detailed technical specifications, and assessing software licensing, integration, training, change management, and maintenance requirements. Additionally, the vendor will be tasked with developing an ERP readiness roadmap, preparing an options analysis report, and reviewing related data areas such as financials, payroll, HR, procurement, and assets to identify any data quality issues that may impact migration.
