Environmental Engineering Professional Services

The government authority in New Jersey is seeking an environmental engineering consulting firm to provide professional services related to environmental reporting, studies, permitting, and regulatory compliance. The selected firm will be expected to prepare the documentation necessary to obtain permits, approvals, and certifications from federal and state agencies, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Scope of services includes microbial contamination surveys, materials testing, laboratory analysis, abatement recommendations, and project design and monitoring for microbial contamination. The firm is required to employ a certified industrial hygienist. Additional services include asbestos identification surveys, materials testing, laboratory analysis, abatement recommendations, and project design and monitoring, as well as lead-based paint identification surveys, testing, laboratory analysis, abatement recommendations, and related project oversight.

The contract also covers regulatory permitting services and air and water compliance work involving boiler stacks, generators, and stormwater. Further responsibilities include investigation and evaluation of soil and groundwater contamination, remedial system design, bench-scale and field pilot-scale testing, sampling, laboratory analysis, groundwater remediation, environmental site audits, site remediation, assessment of existing tank systems, design of new tank systems, and preparation of tank management plans.
