An organization in Alberta, Canada is seeking experienced providers of project management services for the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The successful proponent will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the ERP project to ensure alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.

The Project Manager will report directly to the Project Governance Committee, ensuring transparent communication and adherence to strategic objectives. Responsibilities include leading the ERP Project Management Office, coordinating ERP working group leads, facilitating regular meetings to address decisions and project updates, and escalating issues as needed. The Project Manager will develop and maintain comprehensive project plans in collaboration with both internal team members and software vendors.

Additional duties involve the coordination of internal and external resources as outlined in the staffing plan, and ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly assigned for all project participants, including sponsors, managers, coordinators, business and technical leads, change management specialists, and training leads. The Governance Committee will meet monthly to monitor project progress, make decisions related to scope, budget, and schedule, and provide strategic direction for change management activities.
