This request is for the provision of an enterprise cloud brokerage service designed to consolidate, optimize, and govern multi-cloud operations across the VA enterprise cloud (VAEC) environment. The VAEC environment currently hosts approximately 757 applications across three FedRAMP high-certified cloud service providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. The selected vendor will act as a third-party broker providing cloud computing services, encompassing infrastructure, platforms, and software delivered over the internet.
Key requirements include providing a cloud brokerage platform with necessary software licenses and hosting infrastructure, along with development, testing, and staging environments for platform releases. The vendor must supply project management, collaboration, and documentation tools, implement AI and machine learning solutions for cost optimization and workload placement recommendations, and optimize enterprise discount and savings plans. Financial management features such as chargeback and showback, cloud governance and policy enforcement, as well as security and compliance monitoring, are also required.
Interested vendors must submit questions by June 10, 2026. The anticipated contract period is for one year.
