A university in Maryland is seeking an enterprise-class Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and IP Address Management (IPAM) solution to replace its existing Infoblox platform. The selected vendor will provide a solution designed to improve operational efficiency, enhance visibility and control of network resources, strengthen security capabilities, and support future institutional growth.
The scope includes supplying, installing, configuring, testing, validating, and placing into production a DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solution, whether as a single integrated platform or an interoperable modular solution. The solution must meet the university's technical, operational, security, scalability, and availability requirements and integrate with enterprise systems and infrastructure such as SAML-based authentication and single sign-on, Splunk via syslog, API-based DNS orchestration, SIEM platforms, enterprise monitoring tools including Nagios, and public cloud environments including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
The vendor will also be responsible for implementation, migration, training, knowledge transfer, documentation, warranty, maintenance, and technical support throughout the one-year contract term. In addition, the university may request optional professional services on an as-needed basis, including automation development, API design and integration, workflow customization, scripting, and other custom implementation support.
