DESCRIPTION

Atlantic County is soliciting qualification statements from professional engineering firms to create a pool of consultants for as-needed services. The scope includes roadway and geometric design, traffic engineering, stormwater systems design, bridge design, dam design, environmental investigations, and construction engineering and inspection. The County expects to award several contracts to firms responsive to the requirements of this RFP. The contract term is for 2027 projects.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must be a professional engineering firm licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey
Must be classified under N.J.S.A. 27:7-35.2
Must have a valid Business Registration Certificate on file with the Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services
Must have professional liability errors and omissions insurance coverage
Must have a New Jersey licensed professional engineer to supervise construction inspectors
Must have qualified construction inspectors registered with NICET
Must have a registered professional engineer in the State of New Jersey available to respond to emergencies within 4 hours
Must have a Certificate of Authorization issued by the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors (unless exempt)
Must comply with the Atlantic County Solid Waste Management Plan and Recycling Plan
