The government authority in Orem, Utah is seeking engineering services related to a water well rehabilitation and improvement project. The selected vendor will support a multi-phase effort beginning with a pre-construction assessment, including review of original well logs, construction records, historical production yields, and prior water quality data to evaluate geological conditions, current well status, and production potential.
The scope also includes oversight of the well rehabilitation process, such as brushing, swabbing, or hydro-jetting to remove scale and debris. In addition, the vendor will provide design services and prepare construction drawings, ensuring the structure complies with all applicable local building, electrical, plumbing, and fire codes.
The selected firm will also provide construction management services, including review of contractor submittals for compliance with plans and specifications and inspection of component installation. Following construction, the firm will assist with startup and troubleshooting and verify that the water meets all applicable United States Environmental Protection Agency and state drinking water standards.
