DESCRIPTION
An opportunity is available for qualified engineering firms to provide professional design and installation services for new fire hydrants and improved fire protection at an elementary school in New Milford, Connecticut. The scope of work includes delivering code-compliant fire hydrant installations that ensure sufficient exterior fire protection coverage across the school grounds.
Vendors will be expected to review existing site plans, utility drawings, and fire protection reports, as well as determine the precise horizontal and vertical locations of the current water main, underground utilities, and site topography. An on-site inspection is required to evaluate the present condition of the fire hydrant coverage and water supply infrastructure.
