A government authority in Florida is seeking an engineering professional design consultant to enhance parking infrastructure for cruise terminal operations. The scope of work includes providing adequate parking capacity, improving vehicular circulation, and enhancing passenger access. The design should also consider future expansion through the addition of parking levels, horizontal expansion, or increased structural capacity to meet long-term operational needs.
The selected consultant will be responsible for preparing a feasibility study evaluating current and projected parking demands, utilizing existing port data and anticipated growth in port activities and vessel calls. The project also includes analysis of roadway alignment, capacity, ingress and egress, interfaces with adjacent cruise terminal transportation, and the effects of terminal renovations or expansions on parking and traffic flow. Additionally, the consultant will provide construction administration and engineering inspection services throughout the process.
The contract period is set for one year, with all potential bidders required to submit questions by June 15, 2026.
