The City of Merced, CA is seeking qualified firms to provide comprehensive engineering design and management services for a new municipal water supply well and associated watermain infrastructure. The project entails the installation of a new municipal water production well along with approximately 10,500 feet of 16-inch watermain to enhance the city’s water supply capabilities.

The selected vendor will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, conducting site surveys and preparation, test borehole drilling, and collection and analysis of drill cuttings and water samples. Deliverables will include driller’s logs of borehole lithology, laboratory analysis results, and a summary report. Additionally, the scope of work includes the design and development of bidding plans and specifications for well drilling, pump station, and water main construction, as well as providing engineer’s cost estimates. The vendor will manage the bidding process and provide construction management services to ensure compliance and quality throughout the project implementation.
