A government authority in British Columbia is seeking a vendor to provide Employee and Family Assistance Program services under a three-year contract. The program is intended to support employee mental health, wellness, and family assistance needs through confidential and accessible services.
Required services include case management, referrals, and bridging to community-based resources for issues such as psychiatric concerns and substance abuse. The program must include assessment, referral, short-term solution-focused therapy, aftercare, follow-up, comprehensive assessments, goal setting, and confidential short-term counselling services. The vendor must also provide 24-hour, 7-day emergency access, support organizational mental health and wellness initiatives, and deliver training for selected groups including supervisors, managers, and employees.
The provider must protect the confidentiality, integrity, and security of all client data through appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards aligned with industry standards and applicable regulations. Robust monitoring, incident response, and breach notification protocols are also required to detect, respond to, and mitigate actual or suspected data security incidents.
