Seeking a vendor to manage and execute a program supporting state agricultural exports and food business system development in emerging markets.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must be a United States private or government entity
Must have an active registration in the U.S. Government System for Award Management (SAM.gov)
Must have a demonstrated role or interest in the export of U.S. agricultural commodities or products
Must target countries classified by the World Bank as low- or middle-income economies
Must not include more than three promoted commodities
Must not target more than four countries
Must provide a recipient cost share element equal to at least 10 percent of the requested funds (except for Federal, state, and local government agencies)
Must submit application through the Unified Export Strategy (UES) system

DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will provide services for an Emerging Markets Program aimed at developing, maintaining, or expanding markets for the export of state agricultural commodities. The program will also foster cooperation and facilitate the exchange of information between agricultural institutions and agribusinesses in the states and emerging markets.

Primary responsibilities include conducting assessments of food and rural business systems needs in emerging markets, making informed recommendations to strengthen these systems, and identifying or implementing targeted opportunities and projects. This work may involve strategies such as reducing trade barriers and other measures to improve the effectiveness and global reach of state agricultural products and rural business development.

The ultimate objective is to enhance the capacity of food and rural business systems through innovative market development, international collaboration, and the delivery of actionable projects in emerging markets.
