The selected vendor will provide comprehensive emergency preparedness and public awareness campaign services. Responsibilities include developing digital communications by creating content and graphics for a monthly newsletter, aligning with program objectives and messaging strategies, and reviewing and approving drafts for distribution. The vendor will also maintain the website and mobile presence, offering updates, hosting, content management, SEO optimization, user experience improvements, and partner information updates.
Social media outreach is a significant component, requiring the development of engaging content in various formats—such as graphics, memes, surveys, videos, and gifs—designed to increase user engagement and website traffic. The vendor will deliver four social media toolkits and deploy social media advertising within the project budget to promote campaign objectives. Additionally, the scope includes broad public education and engagement initiatives, local outreach, participation in community events, and support for micro-campaigns.
The contract period is for one year, with important milestones including an optional pre-bid meeting and a deadline for submitting questions.
