DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Portland, Oregon is seeking a prime consultant to provide professional design services for a multi-system infrastructure and facility improvement project. The selected consultant is expected to deliver a coordinated, complete design package, including permit documents, assistance with construction procurement, and construction administration support.
The scope includes updates to programmable logic controller-based ventilation logic to provide secure, independent agency control, along with upgrades to mechanical and ventilation controls. Additional work includes tunnel-wide linear and point fire detection systems with cameras, removal and replacement of the existing generator with a new system of sufficient output, and remote monitoring of controls and alarms through the Operations Command Center.
