DESCRIPTION

A government authority in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive design engineering services. The selected firm will be responsible for reviewing available as-built drawings, equipment data, and operational information, as well as conducting site visits to verify existing conditions.

Scope of work includes identifying design challenges, constructability issues, and operational impacts; evaluating filter press selection assumptions and integration requirements; and developing process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams. Additional requirements encompass the design of residuals feed, discharge, pumping, mechanical, and electrical systems; as well as piping design, supports, valves, pumps, and associated appurtenances. HVAC design considerations and provision of detailed equipment installation specifications are also required.
