Cybersecurity Architecture and Engineering Services

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for Cybersecurity Operations Systems Engineering services. This notice is for planning and market research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, request for proposal, or commitment by the Government to award a contract. The tentative NAICS code for this requirement is 541512, Computer Systems Design Services, with a size standard of $34 million.

Interested vendors are asked to submit a capability response addressing their ability to meet the requirements outlined in the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). Responses must include company identification details, business size and status, relevant NAICS codes, socioeconomic information, existing contract vehicles, and proof of verification for VOSB or SDVOSB firms where applicable. Vendors should also provide technical capability summaries, relevant corporate experience, references, staffing and subcontracting plans, and comments on whether the draft PWS sufficiently describes the requirement.

The Government also requests a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimate covering an anticipated 6-month base period, four 12-month option periods, and four optional tasks. The ROM should include major pricing assumptions and a high-level pricing methodology, but detailed cost data is not required. Responses are limited to 10 pages, must not include marketing materials, and are due by 12:00 PM EST on July 23, 2026.
