The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from multiple firms to provide technical assistance for the administration of IDAPA 58.01.13, “Rules for Ore Processing by Cyanidation.” Services include reviewing cyanidation permit application materials, permit fact sheets, draft permits, and final permits for compliance with rule requirements and industry best practices. The contract will be task-order based with a five-year term.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must employ or obtain certification for a professional engineer licensed in Idaho
Must demonstrate experience with cyanidation facility design, construction, operation, closure, and post-closure care
Must demonstrate knowledge or experience with cyanidation facility regulation or permitting
Must be a legal entity with the legal right to contract
Must provide a project manager responsible for day-to-day management
Must disclose any potential conflicts of interest
