The government authority in Eugene, Oregon is seeking a vendor to provide construction manager/general contractor (CM/GC) services for a project. The selected firm will consult and collaborate with the design team during the design stages, including constructability reviews, value engineering, scheduling, cost estimating, early procurement of long-lead items, and overall project development support.
The scope also includes project bidding, scheduling, estimating, subcontracting, monitoring and control of the building process and budget, and the provision of general CM/GC expertise. The contractor will be expected to coordinate closely with the county and the design team and provide any additional services needed for successful project completion.
The vendor must also provide a comprehensive management plan to monitor and control schedule and budget, ensure construction is completed within budget, include a detailed schedule for progress payment processing during construction, recommend division of work to facilitate bidding and contract awards, and accommodate phased construction as necessary. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 14, 2026, and questions are due by May 28, 2026.
