DESCRIPTION

A government authority in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a vendor to provide CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) services for an upcoming conference and expo. The selected contractor must coordinate the provision of CART services, which may be delivered in-person, remotely, or as a combination of both. Services will entail having captioners transcribe spoken words, sounds, and audible media into captioned text with a slight processing delay, distinguishing presenters during conference sessions, including a welcome or keynote presentation and up to five blocks of concurrent afternoon sessions.

CART captioners should be willing to be physically present alongside, in front of, or behind event branding as required. Additionally, the captioners must consent to the use of their likeness in photographs and videos taken during the event. The contract period will span one year.
