The vendor is sought to provide a comprehensive, secure, reliable, and fully integrated public safety technology ecosystem in Washington. The solution is intended to enhance officer and public safety, accountability, transparency, training, and investigative effectiveness across field operations, investigations, and public spaces.
The requested ecosystem includes body-worn cameras, in-car video systems, interview room cameras, fixed-location cameras, and automated license plate reader (ALPR) systems capable of capturing high-quality video and data. These technologies must integrate with a future Real-Time Information Center (RTIC) so personnel can access live and recorded video, vehicle data, and emergency communications to support patrol operations, investigations, and critical incident response.
The scope also includes software solutions for a Digital Evidence Management System (DEMS), Physical Evidence Management System (EMS), Records Management System (RMS), and Internal Affairs Records Management System. Additional requirements include data migration, data export and retention, data ownership and sharing, hardware installation, and ongoing technical support following implementation.
