DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will provide comprehensive community engagement services to support the development of a master plan for designated parcels. Professional outreach services are required to gather community feedback through the organization, facilitation, and documentation of meaningful engagement opportunities with a broad range of stakeholders, including residents, neighborhood stakeholders, local businesses, civic leaders, nonprofit organizations, and property owners.

The scope of work includes developing a clear and actionable community engagement strategy in collaboration with the agency. This involves identifying target audiences, outreach methods, meeting formats, engagement goals, and a timeline coordinated with the master plan schedule. The vendor will assist in identifying key stakeholders, creating outreach materials—including in Spanish—and conducting proactive outreach to maximize participation and ensure inclusivity.

The vendor is responsible for organizing and co-leading three engagement opportunities, such as public meetings, listening sessions, and design feedback workshops. Collected community feedback must be documented, organized, and summarized in a format useful to the planning and design team, and integrated efficiently to inform the master plan development process.
