Rhode Island is seeking a consultant to provide community engagement and equity services. The selected consultant will be responsible for developing an equitable community engagement strategy that prioritizes the voices and needs of frontline community members. This involves collaborating with the Department and key community organizations to implement a comprehensive engagement campaign aimed at gathering insights and priorities from residents directly impacted by current policies.

In addition, the consultant will conduct a local social and racial equity analysis utilizing updated analytic tools. The role also includes evaluating progress toward existing energy goals, assessing the need for updates based on the latest scientific findings, and recommending revised goals and strategies to further advance equity and energy outcomes.
