DESCRIPTION

A government authority in Washington, DC is seeking a co-managed information technology services partner to work alongside its internal technology staff. The partner will supplement, rather than replace, internal IT and will provide day-to-day end-user support, advanced engineering, and cybersecurity services while internal IT retains organizational context, approvals, prioritization, and selected routine administrative responsibilities.

As an initial phase, the selected provider will conduct a structured discovery and current-state assessment and produce a documented configuration baseline covering Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview, backup, and access controls. Services will include remote monitoring and management for endpoints and cloud services, automated alerting, health and performance dashboards, and proactive remediation.

The engagement will also include Tier 1–3 service desk and end-user support, patch and vulnerability management for operating systems and third-party applications, vulnerability scanning and remediation reporting, and cybersecurity services including 24/7 managed detection and response, endpoint detection and response, email security, SIEM and log management, security awareness training, phishing simulations, and incident response with breach notification commitments. The provider will also co-design auditable onboarding and offboarding workflows covering licensing, permissions, mailbox conversion, data preservation, and timely access revocation.
