Cloud-Hosted Text Message and Social Media Account Archiving Solution

An organization is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-hosted solution for archiving text messages and social media account content. The proposed solution must be fully cloud-based, functioning without the need for any on-premises hardware, client software installation, or special configuration on employee or end-user mobile devices.

Key requirements include the ability to capture inbound and outbound SMS and MMS messages directly from carriers with near-real-time ingestion, and to retain comprehensive metadata such as timestamps, sender, recipient, carrier, and attachments. The solution should feature secure and verifiable deletion of records at the end of retention periods, along with robust audit trails for user access, searches, exports, and policy changes.

Role-based access controls and permissions founded on the principle of least privilege are mandatory. Additionally, a centralized, web-based administrative console is required for the efficient management of users, retention policies, and search functionalities. Vendors must be able to describe their message capture process from carriers as part of their proposal. All vendor inquiries must be submitted by December 15, 2025.
