Call for Solutions: Launcher Approach for Launched Effects

The U.S. Army Contracting Command Redstone Arsenal (ACC–RSA) is announcing a Call for Solutions (CFS) to support the Launcher Approach for Launched Effects (LE) in Army Aviation. This initiative aims to gather technical presentations and solutions to inform the development of launcher systems for both ground and air deployment contexts. Solutions are to focus on interoperability and integration with existing platforms, such as the Modular Effects Launcher (MEL), the Launched Effects Dispenser for Ground and Rotorcraft (LEDGR), and the Navy’s Battle Management System (BMS).

The primary objective is not to procure Launched Effects themselves, but to guide the Army’s strategy for future launcher development. Interested parties are asked to provide information on system compatibility, recommended interface specifications for open-systems launchers, and available industry solutions supporting common carry and launch tubes. This effort will help inform the U.S. Government’s interoperability requirements and industry approaches to launcher integration. Additional documentation is available to guide solution development.
