DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Seattle, Washington seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive benefits account services. Responsibilities include performing record-keeping and administrative functions for the port's benefits plans, managing all aspects of employee enrollment based on monthly electronic reports, and assigning a dedicated team for ongoing account management support. The vendor will be expected to offer technical assistance, communicate with members to resolve issues, and promptly notify the port when contributions are due.

Additional duties involve uploading and posting contribution files after payroll transmissions, maintaining and reconciling funding accounts, and handling participant claims. Claim review must verify eligibility and compliance with applicable rules and regulations, and communication regarding claims may be handled through various channels including phone, email, and fax. The provider is also responsible for ensuring employees do not receive reimbursements exceeding their elected amounts, proactively recovering any excess, and furnishing account statements to employees at least twice annually.

A pre-bid conference is scheduled for June 4, 2026, and all questions must be submitted by June 8, 2026. The contract will be for a one-year term.
