The government authority in Spokane, Washington is seeking professional engineering, design, and construction management/administration services to support the upgrade of the existing baggage handling system serving the main terminal. The scope focuses on modernizing the current system to improve performance and reliability.
The selected vendor will assess existing conditions by reviewing available as-built drawings, control narratives, and historical maintenance data, and by evaluating system performance, reliability, and obsolescence risks. Services also include development of the basis of design, including system performance requirements and control system architecture standards.
Design responsibilities include control system upgrades, software and programming revisions, system integration, and preparation of design deliverables. The project also calls for implementation of a user interface that is consistent with the recently upgraded system serving the C Concourse. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 14, 2026, and questions are due by May 20, 2026.
