The issuing organization seeks a vendor to provide public relations and marketing services for the Australia and New Zealand markets. The engagement calls for a comprehensive, innovative, and strategic tourism campaign that integrates consumer, travel trade, and media activities to promote the state as a premier travel destination.
The selected vendor will be expected to create a responsible, accurate, and positive destination image while developing and implementing a robust social media strategy. Services include cooperative public relations and marketing programs designed to maximize partner participation, public relations outreach to key consumer and travel trade media in both traditional and non-traditional outlets, and media placements that generate positive publicity.
Additional responsibilities include producing, storing, and fulfilling collateral and promotional materials; providing clippings and media monitoring services; managing social media activity through real-time community management; producing and managing social media assets such as photography and video; and delivering monthly and campaign-specific reporting, paid promotions, and related program support. The scope also includes travel trade relations, creative services, and crisis management support involving the identification and monitoring of domestic and international events that could affect campaign implementation or performance.
