The vendor will provide, install, integrate, train users on, and support an augmented reality mission management system for public safety helicopters operated by a park district police department air support unit. The system must deliver advanced airborne situational awareness through a unified platform integrating mapping, augmented reality overlays, mission management, sensor integration, recording, aircraft interfaces, and real-time operational support.
Required capabilities include real-time augmented reality overlays over electro-optical/infrared video, parcel and GIS data overlays, mapping and mission planning, aircraft position and flight tracking, vehicle and personnel tracking, search pattern management, custom overlays and GIS layers, integration with existing and future airborne mission equipment, cybersecure networking, and real-time recording and playback. The system will also support crowd management, event security, flight management systems, and Automatic Vehicle Location systems.
