Asset Program Manager Services

The organization seeks an asset program manager to provide strategic leadership for its utility asset management initiative. The selected professional will develop and promote the asset management vision, engage staff in its development and implementation, and coordinate with the director of water resources, city manager, and elected leadership as appropriate.

Responsibilities include updating and advancing the strategic asset management plan and tactical asset management plans to improve the reliability and resilience of city infrastructure. The role will prioritize business needs, manage asset inventories, develop condition assessment strategies, prepare complex reports and communications materials, and plan, organize, direct, and manage utility asset management efforts.

The asset program manager will work with limited supervision, demonstrate innovation and self-motivation, support team leadership, and attend council, committee, and public meetings as required. This posting represents a job opportunity rather than a conventional request for proposals.
