DESCRIPTION

The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System is establishing a list of prequalified vendors to provide geotechnical engineering, special inspections, and materials testing services for District facilities projects. The District may negotiate with prequalified vendors for individual projects on an as-needed basis for at least one year. The District does not guarantee any future award of a project through this prequalification process.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must be a legal entity authorized to transact business in the State of Georgia
Must be licensed to perform the professional services offered in Georgia
Must demonstrate an ability to meet minimum insurance requirements, including $1,000,000 per occurrence/$2,000,000 aggregate Commercial General Liability
Must demonstrate past experience on large construction projects such as schools, hospitals, or office buildings
Must provide a list of five largest construction projects in terms of dollar value
Must comply with O.C.G.A. § 13-10-91 and E-Verify requirements
Must confirm not debarred or suspended from bidding on a State or Federal project
Must provide a surety letter indicating bonding capacity for projects over $100,000
Must provide a copy of current business license and certificate of insurance
