DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking qualified firms to provide comprehensive architectural and engineering services. The selected vendor will be responsible for delivering architectural design services, including the preparation of plans, specifications, and plan books such as the traditional neighborhood plan book, as well as related construction documents.
Services will also encompass conducting architectural inspections and evaluations, with detailed reporting, and designing projects that may involve urban planning, conceptual design, scope and cost studies, and architectural solutions for renovations, alterations, and additions. Support for economic development initiatives is included in the scope, as well as historic tax credit documentation and related support.
Additionally, the vendor will offer interior design services, which may cover interior space planning, casework design, selection of furniture and equipment, specification of finishes, and other related tasks. Incidental structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and civil engineering services may be required to support specific projects.
