Architect and Engineering Services for Assess and Replace Building One General Exhaust Design

The Wilmington Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center at 1601 Kirkwood Highway is seeking qualified Architect and Engineering (A&E) services for Project No. 460-19-005, Assess and Replace Building One General Exhaust Design. This notice is a qualifications-based request for SF 330 submissions and is issued under the federal selection procedures for A&E firms. It is not a request for proposals, and no award will be made directly from this announcement.

The selected firm will be responsible for providing complete design-related services for the project, including mechanical, electrical, sampling and monitoring, and controls. All work must comply with applicable VA guidelines and specifications, as well as relevant codes and directives, including those referenced by the Department of Veterans Affairs and other governing standards. Following evaluation of qualifications and past performance information, the government may shortlist the most highly qualified firms for interviews, after which the top-ranked firm may be invited to submit a proposal. The contemplated contract type is firm fixed price, subject to FY26 funding availability.
