Vendor needs to provide annual consultant services to the government authority located in Norfolk, VA. – To assist the City by the provision of construction management services for the Department of Utilities on an as-needed or as-ordered basis. – Assign a qualified inspector to perform on-site inspection services on a full-time or part-time basis as directed by the City. – Conduct pre-construction inspection and condition assessment of the project site. Take pre-construction photos and record observations. – Create, update and maintain an emergency contact list as related to each project. – Assist in conducting preconstruction meeting, prepare agenda and distribute meeting minutes. – Assist the City with review of contractor’s requests for information and proposals. Maintain file of requests and responses for reference. – Assist the City with review of contractor’s submittals, samples and review comments. Maintain file with full sets of these documents.
