DESCRIPTION

Bulloch County is seeking a qualified aviation consulting firm to provide professional planning services, including environmental assessments and Airport Layout Plan updates, in connection with the Airport Capital Improvement Plan at the Statesboro-Bulloch County Airport. The selected consultant will enter into a multi-year Master Agreement for a five-year period, with services provided on an assignment-by-assignment basis.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess current pre-qualification by the Georgia Department of Transportation in Area Class 1.08 Airport Master Planning
  • Must demonstrate familiarity with the Federal Aviation Administration Atlanta District Office and Georgia Department of Transportation Aviation Programs
  • Must have experience at general aviation airports of regional significance (GASP Level 3 or larger) similar to Statesboro-Bulloch County Airport
  • Must be able to furnish qualified inspectors for construction inspection
  • Must meet Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) contract goals or document good faith efforts to meet them
