3D Medical Applications Center Sole Source Notice

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), on behalf of the 3D Medical Applications Center at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to 3D Systems. This award supports the PEEK Cranial device and Custom Ridge Augmentation Matrix (CTRAM) Device as part of the FDA 510(k) clearance process.

The procurement is made under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103–1, allowing for other than full and open competition because only one responsible source is available to meet agency requirements. The primary NAICS code for this action is 622110 – General Medical and Surgical Hospitals. There is no solicitation available at this time, but interested parties may identify their interest and submit a capabilities statement demonstrating their ability to meet this requirement. A decision to compete this action will be at the sole discretion of the Government.
